Women
Sonya Henry is our Women’s Ministry director. The women meet the first Wednesday of the month. She leads the women using the missions mosaic to learn about the missional impact of Southern Baptist around the world. They pray for the missionaries. The inspiration from their study often leads to ways the ladies minister to others.
There is an annual missions retreat for our girls. The ladies travel to Gatlinburg, TN for the annual Missions Get-Together and Connection.
Acteens (Girls Grades 6-12)
Acteens is taught by Sarah Waldrop. Sarah teaches the girls to become active followers of God on mission in the community. The girls volunteer at Second Harvest food bank, have a weekend missional retreat, and raise money for different ministries.
Girls in Action (Girls Grades 1-5)
The Girls in Action is taught by Wendy Schussler. Wendy guides the girls through the Bible looking at the girls in the bible and life lessons from their stories. She has a passion for children to know the bible stories and how those stories affect your story. The girls also do missional projects.
